Fig & Blue Cheese Tarts

Ingredients

  • 24 Phyllo cups

  • 1/2 Cup chopped dried figs

  • 3 Tbsp. honey (more if needed)

  • 1/3 Cup pecan pieces or walnuts,chopped

  • 1/3 Cup crumbled blue cheese

Preparation


Prep: preheat oven to 350. 


  • In a bowl mix together figs, honey, and nuts.  Set aside

  • Add a small crumble of blue cheese into the bottom of the Phyllo cup. Add a small amount of the honey mixture and top with another blue cheese crumble. 

  • Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese melts a bit. Remove the pastries from the pan and let cool. Or you can microwave it.
