Fish Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs White Fish

  • Oil

  • Soft shell tacos

Rub

  • 1 1/2 tsp Smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp Garlic powder

  • 1 tsp Dry oregano

  • 1 tsp Onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp Cumin

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 1/2 tsp Brown sugar

Sauce

  • 1/2 Cup Sour cream

  • 1 tsp Chipotle in adobo sauce

  • 1 1/2 tsp Honey

  • 1 tsp Lime juice

  • Salt, to taste

Slaw

  • 8 oz Cabbage, chopped

  • 1/2 Cup Carrot, grated

  • 2 Scallions, sliced thin

  • 1/4 Cup Cilantro, sliced

  • 1/4 Cup Mayonnaise

  • 2 Tbsp Cider vinegar

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp Sugar

  • 1/8 tsp Salt

Preparation

  • Mix together spices for the rub. Drizzle a little oil on the fish and coat with the rub. 


  • In a medium bowl, combine the ingredients for the slaw and set aside. Combine ingredients for the sauce and set aside.


  • Cook fish in your own desired way (I personally grill mine). Assemble and enjoy. 


  • Makes approximately 9-12 tacos.
