Brandied Figs with Brie

Ingredients

  • 6 dried figs, roughly chopped 

  • 2 tbsp water 

  • 2 tbsp brandy 

  • 4 oz brie 

  • Honey 

  • Salt and pepper to taste  

Preparation

  • Microwave the dried figs in a bowl with the water and brandy for about 1 minute or until steaming. Let it cool, and drain off access liquid.


  • Arrange sliced brie on crackers and top with the figs. 


  • Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with salt and pepper. 


  • Recipe can also be done in phyllo cups
